Sir K. Manicka Raj, Collector & District Magistrate, Government of Telangana is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). He holds a Mechanical Engineering from Madras University and M.Tech in Energy Planning from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Previously, as Project Director, Outer Ring Road, he executed the major infrastructure project around Hyderabad. He has had training on Private Partnership for Accelerated Infrastructure Development and Urban Management & Public Service Delivery at LKY University, Singapore. In his present capacity, he is responsible for the registration and development of industries in the State of Telangana covering Micro, Small, Medium and Large industries. He plays a key role in the formulation of sectoral policies to promote industries of various sectors as well as the development of industrial clusters. He is entrusted with export promotion activities in the State of Telangana as well.
